Tobey Maguire: The OG Spider-Man is 51!

Happy Birthday to our childhood hero, Tobey Maguire.

From stopping a runaway train in 2004 to swinging back into the Multiverse in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tobey will always have a special place in Marvel fans' hearts. That legendary veteran Spider-Man aura is simply unmatched.

Before gaining international recognition and critical praise for his role as Spider-Man in Sam Raimi's 2002 film Spider-Man. Maguire reprised the role in two sequels, Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007). He returned to the role in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).

Maguire expanded his career with dramatic roles in Seabiscuit (2003), The Good German (2006), and The Great Gatsby (2013). He received critical acclaim and a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his role as a PTSD-stricken soldier in the war film Brothers (2009).
