Tom Holland Teases Symbiote Suit for Spider-Man in MCU

During a promotional event at Cinépolis in Mexico on Thursday, Holland addressed fans' questions about the alien goo from the comics that boosts Spider-Man's powers but corrupts him. He stayed coy on whether it appears in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and set for release on July 31.

“I can’t answer that question, but one day I’m sure we’ll get to see the Symbiote.”

The comment builds on years of fan speculation tied to Venom post-credits scenes and past live-action versions like Tobey Maguire's in Spider-Man 3, with some guessing it could tie into Avengers: Secret Wars.
