The Conservative Party‘s front-runner for the post of next prime minister (Britain) and leader is former UK finance minister Rishi Sunak. There are the most MPs who support Rishi Sunak. Boris Johnson will be succeeded as head of the ruling Conservative Party by Britain’s incoming prime minister. Along with Sunak and Braverman, the list also includes MP Tom Tugendhat, Foreign Minister Liz Truss, and the new Finance Minister, Nadhim Zahawi.

Former health minister Sajid Javid and minister of foreign affairs Rehman Chishti withdrew their names from consideration just before the nomination period closed because they were unable to get the backing of 20 MPs. On September 5, Britain will elect a new prime minister. On Thursday, following the second round of voting, the final two candidates will be chosen incrementally.

On September 5, a new British prime minister will be chosen, and on September 7, he will answer his first questions in front of Parliament. On Wednesday, conservative lawmakers will vote in the first round. On Thursday, following the second round of voting, the final two candidates will be chosen incrementally.
