If you're interested in downloading videos that you've uploaded to your own YouTube channel using YouTube Studio. That's a great way to keep backups of your content! Here's how you can do it:

Using YouTube Studio on a computer:

  • Sign in to YouTube Studio. Go to studio.youtube.com and log in with your Google account.
  • Go to the Content page. In the left-hand menu, click on "Content".
  • Find the video you want to download. You can use the search bar or filters to find it.
  • Click the three dots (More Actions) next to the video. This will open a small menu.
  • Select "Download". Your video will begin downloading in MP4 format.

Important things to keep in mind:

Quality: You can download your videos in either 720p or 360p resolution, depending on the original video size.

Limitations: You can only download videos that you have uploaded yourself. You cannot download videos uploaded by other creators.

Restrictions: You may not be able to download a video if it has been removed from YouTube, has a copyright or Community Guidelines strike against it, uses a preapproved audio track, or if you've already downloaded it five times in the last 24 hours.
