Sysdig gets US $188M for container security

Business : Sysdig, a provider of cloud and container security for enterprises and their DevOps teams, pulled in $188 million in a Series F round. Premji Invest and Third Point Ventures led the financing, which sets a valuation of $1.19 billion for the San Francisco-based company.

Stockholm-based telehealth provider Kry raised $317 million in a Series D funding round. In other news, mobile banking provider Current closed on $220 million in a new financing led by Andreessen Horowitz.

MD Ally, developer of a program that incorporates telehealth and mental health services into 911 and first-responder dispatches, raised $3.5 million in a seed round led by General Catalyst. The New York-based company’s platform helps identify nonemergency calls that could be connected directly to a remote physician.

FranklinCovey, a Salt Lake City-based provider of performance improvement services for companies, has acquired Strive, a management training startup, for about $20 million. Previously, San Francisco-based Strive had raised around $3.8 million in known funding.
