Fewer people download TikTok in India
New Delhi : There is a lockdown on one side in the country and on the other side there is a lot of ruckus between TikTokers and YouTubers on social media. Meanwhile, China's popular video sharing app TikTok is witnessing a sharp drop in TRPs.
While TikTok's ratings on the Google Play Store have fallen from 4.4 to 1.4, on the other hand, downloads have also seen a steep decline.
Only 17 million users have downloaded the TikTok app in May, while in the beginning month of the lockdown, this app has been downloaded more than China in India.
In March, TikTok was downloaded by 36.7 million people :
According to the report of Sensor Tower data, in March, the maximum number of new users were added on TikTok. Around 36.7 million people downloaded the app in March. Whereas in April, the number of users stood at 23.5 million. In May, the number of users downloading this app has come down by half. As of May 23, only 17 million users have been downloaded.
