Marvel CGI in a nutshell.
Marvel's early CGI felt incredibly real because it was layered over actual physical suits and real sets. The middle phase dipped drastically in quality because massive crunch, endless Disney+ shows, and rushed deadlines forced overworked artists to rely entirely on hurried green screens.
Fortunately, Marvel fixed this by slowing down its release schedule, giving artists more time, and returning to massive practical sets like those seen in Deadpool & Wolverine to bring back that grounded, realistic look.
