"Heartstopper" star Joe Locke has spoken about his experience studying for his A-levels, stating that he "did half [his] A-levels drunk or hungover."

In an interview, Locke described juggling his newfound fame from "Heartstopper" with his final year of school. He said, "I had the best time, coming to school hungover, no sleep, having just got off the plane. I felt so cool but I was completely burnt out." He also admitted that at the time, he "didn't know what the word 'no' was."

Locke, who hails from the Isle of Man, was studying for his A-levels when he was cast as Charlie Spring in the Netflix hit series. He has since gone on to have a successful acting career, including a role in the Marvel series "Agatha All Along" and a West End debut.
