Indian Stock Market: Latest News and Updates

Adani Enterprises: net profit rose 753% year-on-year to Rs 3,845 crore in the Jan-March quarter. Dividend announced: Rs 1.30 per share with 13 June as the record date. The company saw a one-time gain of Rs 3,286 crore after tax by selling 13.51% stake in Adani Wilmar.

Adani Ports: net profit rose 48% year-on-year to Rs 3,014 crore in the Jan-March quarter. Dividend announced: Rs 7 per share with 13 June as the record date.

Eternal (Zomato): net profit fell 77% year-on-year to Rs 39 crore in the Jan-March quarter. The company is also shutting down its 10/15-min food delivery services, Quick and Everyday.

Zydus Lifesciences: received US FDA approval to manufacture Niacin Extended-Release Tablets for cholesterol management, with annual sales in the US of $5.5 million.

Gross GST collection rose 12.6% year-on-year to a monthly all-time high of Rs 2.37 lakh crore in April. Net GST collection (gross - refunds) rose 9.1% to Rs 2.09 lakh crore.

Air India and Air India Express have partnered with Dubai National Air Travel Agency to handle the sales, marketing, and distribution services for both airlines across the UAE. It excludes Abu Dhabi and Al Ain for Air India.

The Bank of Japan kept its interest rate unchanged at 0.5% in its May meeting.
