Afghanistan defeated Zimbabwe by 72 runs in the second Test. With this, the team also won the series 1-0. Afghanistan was all out for 157 in reply to 243 in the first innings. Afghanistan scored 363 runs in the second innings. Chasing a target of 278 in the fourth innings, Zimbabwe was all out for 205.
