Man, that Spider-Man multiplayer game getting scrapped is a real bummer! I was so hyped to swing around NYC with my friends as Spidey, Gwen, Miles – the whole gang! Imagine the epic webslinging battles we could have had!

How Do You Feel About Insomniac's Multiplayer Spider-Man Game Being Cancelled?

The leaked trailer looked amazing – a true Spider-Verse come to life. Co-op against classic villains? Sign me up! Maybe it was the whole "live service" thing that scared Sony off, but honestly, I wouldn't have minded some extra content as long as it wasn't pay-to-win junk.

Here's hoping Insomniac finds a way to bring this concept back somehow. Maybe a future DLC for Spider-Man 2 with a co-op mode? A guy can dream, right?
