UGC: Students will get admission in Central University through new process

UGC has made a big change in this year's new session for admission to Central University. According to the new rule, admission will no longer be on the basis of 12th number but on the basis of an entrance test. This exam will be called the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

This exam will be based on objective type questions, in which negative marking will be done for wrong answers. This rule will be implemented starting from the 2022–2023 session itself. The exam will be conducted in the first week of April.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) date. UGC Chairman Professor M. Jagadesh Kumar gave information by tweeting on Saturday. The candidates who have applied for this exam can check the exam-related notice by visiting the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

As per the official information, the UGC NET exam will be conducted by NTA on 8th July, 9th July, 11th July, 12th July, 13th August, and 14th August 2022. An admit card for appearing in this exam will also be issued soon. All the candidates will be able to download their admit cards through these steps on the official website.
