Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, "Avatar: The Way of Water" begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

The film is directed by James Cameron and produced by Cameron and Jon Landau. It stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet.

I can already imagine how beautiful it would be to see this in IMAX. Thank you to everyone at IMAX and the filmmakers for all of your hard work on this long-awaited sequel. I saw this trailer in Imax before seeing Dr. Strange 2 a couple of times, and it was definitely a very cool, surreal experience. I can't wait to see the whole movie!

Despite the delays, the film has been in the works for 12 years. Hopefully, this movie delivers and becomes one of the best sequels in a film franchise. The VFX are mesmerizing. The skin texture, lighting, water, the reflection from water, and shadows. Can we just appreciate the time and effort and applaud the VFX artists? They deserve praise for their work.
