Indian stock market opened with a decline of 37 points
Stock Market : Indian stock market today opened with a decline of 37 points. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex opened at 60,755. Yesterday it closed at 60,718. Right now it is trading at 60,587. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 18,127. It formed a low of 18,063 while an upper level of 18,132 was formed. It is trading at 18,076. BSE Midcap, Small Cap and BSE 100 indices are trading with gains.
Major losers in Nifty 50 include Eicher Motors, Kotak Bank, Asian Paints, HDFC and Hindalco. While the gainers include Tata Motors, Coal India, Maruti and Adani Port. Nifty Midcap Index is in the red. While Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial index are in decline. Earlier yesterday, the stock market closed with a gain. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex closed 32 points higher at 60,718.
The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) closed with a gain of 6 points at 18,109. The Sensex had crossed the 61 thousand mark in yesterday's trading. Out of 30 stocks of Sensex, 16 stocks are trading in decline. While 14 shares are trading with gains. The major losers are SBI, Power Grid, Reliance Industries, Kotak Bank and HDFC. The leading gainers are Larsen & Toubro, Maruti, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Steel and Nestle India.
