How does Pegasus software work? What really?
Software : Through Pegasus software, a link is sent to the phone of the target person through SMS, WhatsApp, iMessage (on iPhone) or any other means. This link is sent with a message that the target clicks on it once. Spyware gets activated in the phone with just one click. Once activated, it breaks into the phone's SMS, email, WhatsApp chat, contact book, GPS data, photo and video library, calendar, etc.
Concerns are now being expressed about cyber weapons, which were earlier limited to a few countries. Now they are increasing rapidly. This type of spying of dissenters and opponents is also increasing the risk of criminal hacking. These include campaigns used for recovery, which recently disrupted oil supplies and meat production in the US.
Christian Goodwin, general manager of Microsoft's digital security unit, said that private sector companies making and selling cyber weapons are dangerous for consumers, businesses and governments of all kinds. These tools were used in Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, Spain, Britain, Turkey, Armenia and Singapore.

According to the report, it is likely that espionage equipment has been sold to countries in the Middle East and Asia. Citizen Lab has identified people who have been victims of the software, and Microsoft has based its report on this.
Governments freely used these tools for espionage. Recently, US President Joe Biden also warned Russian President Vladimir Putin about this type of ransomware. He had said that they should identify the criminal groups sitting in their country, otherwise they will have to face the consequences. However, the US does not appear to be as aggressive in the spying equipment industry.
