Huntress tracks down $40M for Cybersecurity

Business : Cybersecurity company Huntress raised a $40 million Series B round led by JMI Equity. The Maryland-based company focuses on managed detection and response for the small and medium-sized business segment of the market.

Electric and autonomous freight tech company Einride raised $110 million in a Series B round financed by a long list of backers. The Stockholm-based company, which was founded in 2016, makes autonomous and electric freight trucks to transport goods, and also provides a freight mobility platform.

ReCharge, a subscription e-commerce company, closed on $277 million in a growth investment backed by Summit Partners, ICONIQ Growth and Bain Capital Ventures. Bootstrapped for most of its seven-year history, the Santa Monica-based company says it provides services today for 15,000 merchants and 20 million subscribers worldwide.

Shares of The Honest Co. soared 44 percent in first-day trading on the Nasdaq. The debut sets a valuation of around $1.89 billion for the Santa Monica-based household, baby, and personal care products brand.

Virtual chronic care platform Vida Health announced $110 million in Series D funding led by General Atlantic. In other news, Cymulate, a provider of tools for boosting cybersecurity through simulated attacks and tests, raised $45 million in Series C financing.
