Reliance Jio's web browser JioPages has entered Android TV

Reliance Jio's web browser JioPages has entered Android TV. It can be brought on Android TV based smart TV through the latest update. The special thing is that the web browser supports eight Indian languages ​​and features features like a dedicated video section and a PDF reader to make web browsing easier for smart TV users.

Like any other web browser available for Smart TV, Jio Pages allows users to browse the web directly from their big screen. It comes with a dedicated search bar and voice search support for easy searching of online content. Users can bookmark their favorite sites or access their browsing history.

It has a built-in download manager, which allows to check what has been downloaded on the smart TV. In addition, the Geo Pages web browser also has a QuickLinks section, which allows you to quickly view popular sites from one screen.

Jio Pages comes with a dedicated news section, allowing users to view trending news in any of eight dedicated languages, and even download e-news papers to read news on the big screen. Jio Pages Browser came as an update to Jio Browser for Android mobile users and the company claims that it has more than 10 million downloads on the platform.

Along with the default browsing mode, an incognito mode is also available in Jio Pages, so that private browsing can be done. It also has a video section, in which 10,000 curated content can be viewed in 20 categories, including music, kids, movies and lifestyle.

Apart from this, there is also regional content, in which you can customize the preferred news feed in the preferred language. Android TV users can also download PDFs directly from the Jio Pages browser to read documents on their TVs.

You can download live pages on your Android TV based smart TV by going to Google Play. To make some difference on the mobile version of Jio Pages TV, the app is available under Jio Pages TV Title. Prior to the latest release, Jio Pages was available for Android smartphone users. Jio has also made it available for Jio set-top-box to provide web browsing experience to its set-top-box users.
