India : Fastag has been made compulsory on February 15 for four-wheelers on national highways across the country. Orders have been given to collect double tax from the prescribed toll tax if there is no fastag. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has built counters (point of sale) on both sides of the toll plaza to make 100 percent vehicles fastags. It is claimed to make fastag in 10 to 15 minutes. Preparations were finalized at the toll plaza.
