MG ZS: Completely safe for older and children; Now in India

This SUV has been given four different safety ratings. For adult occupant protection, 32.27 points out of 36.00 have been received. The Frontal Impact Test scored 14.27 points out of 16.00.
The side impact test yielded 16.00 out of 16.00 points. At the same time, 2.00 out of 4.00 points have been received for head protection technology.
Safety was better for the head and legs of the driver and front passenger. However, the driver's chest safety is rated lower, while the front passenger's chest and straight knee safety are rated better.
Overall the ZS is rated 5 stars for Adult Occupant Protection with a 90% and 44.82 weight score.
Child occupant protection
ZS received 40.96 points out of 49.00 for child occupant protection. The Frontal Impact Test scores 14.00 out of 16.00. The side impact test yielded 8.00 out of 8.00 points. 9.98 out of 12.00 for child seat installation assessment.
9.00 out of 13.00 for vehicle-based assessment. That is, ZS got 90% score in the Child Occupant Protection Test, in which the weight score was 20.90.

Speaking of ZS Safety Assist, then it will get ABS, ESC, seatbelt warning system with dual front airbags. For the side safety of passengers, it has curtain airbags. These safety features are optional.

MG ZS is not present in the Indian market. It is being sold in the Thai and Vietnam markets. According to media reports, the company is planning to launch it in India soon.
Its Indian model can get a 1.0-liter, direct-injection petrol engine, which generates 111hp of power and 160Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Its top speed will be 180kph. The speed of 0-100kph will catch up in 12.4 seconds.

The French auto maker Group PSA is all set to re-enter the Indian market with its Citroën brand. Citroën's first car will be the C5 Aircross SUV. The company was scheduled to launch this past year, but had to postpone its launch.
Now, Citroën has confirmed that the C5 Aircross SUV will debut in the Indian market through a virtual event on 1 February 2021. The SUV has also been spotted many times during testing on Indian roads, due to which many specifications have been revealed.
The SUV will be 4500 mm long, 1840 mm wide, 1670 mm high. The SUV will also get a wheelbase of 2730 mm and ground clearance of 230 mm.
It will get features like 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, panoramic sunroof, dual zone climate control, hands free tailgate, electrically adjustable driver seat.
Speaking of safety, the SUV will come with electronic stability control with multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors.
To power the SUV, it can get a 2.0-liter diesel engine, which will generate a maximum power-output of 180 PS and 400 Nm.
The transmission option can get a 6-speed manual as well as an optional 8-speed automatic. Initially, there will be no option of petrol engine in SUV but later the company can bring it.
Reports claim that the C5 Aircross SUV will be priced between Rs 25-30 lakh and will compete directly with SUVs like Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson in the Indian market.
