Samsung Galaxy S9 Series Android Update Released
The latest update for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ is rolling out as an OTA (over-the-air). The update carries a firmware build G965FXXU5CSF2 for both the devices.
It weighs a total of 574MB in size and a notification for the same will be available on the respective units. The update is released for Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines.
The biggest addition is the new Night Mode which was previously exclusive to the newer Galaxy S10 line. Alongside it, users will get refinements in the selfie camera performance with adjustable background blur and improved usability of the QR code reader.
This security patch addresses 11 vulnerabilities in Samsung's software while also squashing eight security issues found in the Android OS. It also fixes over a dozen high-risk vulnerabilities.
