Vivo U1 to be launched in India for INR 6490

Vivo introduced a new smartphone series earlier this year in its home market China. The first device under this lineup is the Vivo U1 and it went official in February. Now, it looks like this smartphone is all set to be launched in India sometime soon. It is said to be launched in India in May in two variants priced at INR 6490 and INR 8490.

Features :

The Vivo U1 smartphone is a mid-range offering from the brand. The phone comes with a 6.2-inch HD LCD screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 439 processor under the hood.

The Vivo U1 packs up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.

For optics, the Vivo U1 has a 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras alongside an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The phone also supports software-backed Face Unlock feature assisted by the front camera. In terms of software, the Vivo U1 runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS 4.5 out-of-the-box.
