Are WordPress Page Builders Coming to an End?
End of WordPress page builders? Ya, I think not. Many developers think Block Builder is crap. It’s so confusing for them. But, page builders are here to stay.
Blog: WordPress now offers a complete theme builder along with a page builder. It’s very easy to use. If you have used WordPress during the last 2-3 years, you can easily understand.
It won’t change the experience of Elementor Pro or other editors because we have more freedom in Elementor; in block-based editors, we seem more limited, so I can’t get used to it. But overall, this updated theme and editor is excellent for simple websites and non-Elementor guys. Haha.
Are Page Builders Coming to an End in WordPress?
It’s encouraging to hear that WordPress is constantly improving its platform to make it more accessible and user-friendly. New WordPress updates are coming soon. I look forward to learning more about the updated features and improvements in this update.
Site-wide customizations
As a long-time WordPress user, I’m thrilled to see the platform evolving to make website building even more streamlined and efficient. I like the ideas and concepts in the upcoming WordPress block themes. It saves me searching every page item with Inspect and returning to the customizer to build my site-wide customizations.
Fluid Typography and some of the menu controls (logo in center) are nice, but it seems to have more clicks than Elementor. I have not liked a block-based theme editor. However, I have no problem using this feature. I’m sure it will inspire designers and developers to be more creative and innovative with their website designs.
Maybe AI will do all this for us soon enough. However, I see this taking over page builders with AI. As we prompt and modify with this default version 6 or 7 or 8. As far as WordPress is concerned, I’m personally very happy with the choices they’ve made. In the long run, things are easier.
