The new box design of Realme has also reduced the plastic ratio. Where the company used 21.7% plastic in the old generation phone, it has used up to 0.3% in the current generation. The company claims that the GT 2 Pro is the first smartphone to sport a 150-degree ultra-wide camera, which increases the phone's field of view by 278% as compared to the main camera's 84-degree field of view. The company has also developed the world's first fisheye mode for smartphones on the device, which provides ultra-long depth of field effect. The smartphone is equipped with iPersmart Antenna Switching Technology which is designed with 12 wrap-around antennae.

It covers all sides of the phone and supports mainstream bands in almost all directions. This allows the realme GT 2 Pro to evaluate the signal strength of all antennae and automatically select the one with the best signal. To make the Wi-Fi network stronger, the symmetrical Wi-Fi antenna is designed to deliver a more balanced signal around the phone. The device also integrates the top two cellular antennae with NFC signal transceiver function, increasing the sensing area by 500% and the sensing distance by 20%. The entire top of the GT 2 Pro senses NFC signals in any direction, facilitating the use of NFC to swipe a card or smartphone.
