Tata Motors : Global sales have grown by 24%

Both cars and commercial vehicles have played an important role in increasing the sales of Tata Motors. The company sold 2,51,689 units during the last quarter. It sold 2,02,873 units in the same quarter last year. Actually, all the companies of the country and the world are worrying about the chip.

Due to not getting the chip on time, the production of the car is decreasing. The waiting time for car delivery is increasing. Companies have to close their plants again and again even without wanting to.

Tata Motors releases its overall sales figures every quarter. The company has made gains during the last three quarters.

In July-September, the company sold 1,62,634 units in the passenger vehicle segment. This is 10% more than the total sales of passenger vehicles in the same period last year. Tata Motors' total sales in April-June this year were 2,14,250 units. This is an increase of 17% compared to the same period of 2020.

Tata Motors releases India sales data on the first of every month. At the same time, the data of vehicle registration of companies is also issued by FADA.

In September, the company registered a year-on-year growth of 28% with sales of 59,156 units. This was 46,129 units in September 2020. Earlier, the company had sold 51,981 units in July 2021 and 54,190 units in August 2021.

Chip shortage continues among companies around the world. In such a situation, the sales of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), the luxury car unit of Tata Motors, also increased. The company has sold 78,251 JLR cars in this period. In this, the sale of Jaguar was 13,944 units and that of Land Rover was 64,307 units.
