Film actor Aamir Khan and his second wife Kiran Rao have decided to separate. Both had started talks for this separation for some time now. Now after all the aspects of this issue were formally completed, both of them announced this separation by issuing a joint statement. According to the statement, as parents, both will bring up their child together. The business relationship of both will also continue. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, who met for the first time on the sets of the film 'Lagaan', issued a joint statement on their separation.

According to her, “In these 15 years we have spent together, we have shared a whole life experience, happiness, respect and trust. Our relationship has only grown in terms of trust, respect and love during this period. We now want to start a new chapter of our life, not as husband and wife but by being co-parents and each other's family.

We started planning this separation a while back, and we are now feeling comfortable to formalize that arrangement. We will continue to share our lives even when we are apart, as extended families often do.”

Actor Arjun Kapoor talked about his father's second marriage. He told how he faced stress after Boney Kapoor and Sridevi's marriage. People started teasing him in school and Arjun used to get upset about it. I have lived through personal grief, trauma, and upheaval. When I was growing up, I had to go through the separation of my parents. It was very difficult for me at that point of time because my father was a high profile man and the woman he decided to be with was India's biggest superstar.
