BSE: Loss to TCS, Market cap reduced by 20 thousand crores

Business/India : There has been a downtrend in the domestic stock markets. A decrease of Rs 65,176.78 crore was recorded in the market cap of 8 companies out of the top-10 of the Bombay Stock Exchange ie BSE.

In this, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) suffered the most. The 30-share sensitive index BSE Sensex closed down 440.37 points or 0.83% last week.

TCS's market cap reduced by 20 thousand crores

According to BSE data, the market cap of Tata Consultancy Services declined by Rs 20,400.27 crore last week. With this the company's market cap has come down to Rs 12,30,138.03 crore.

HDFC Bank's market cap has come down by Rs 18,113.03 crore to Rs 8,18,313.66 crore. There has been a decrease of Rs 5,837.3 crore in the market cap of HDFC. Now the market cap of the company is Rs 4,46,941.10 crore. The market cap of ICICI Bank declined by Rs 5,762.02 crore to Rs 4,43,404.75 crore.

According to the data, the market cap of Bajaj Finance Limited declined by Rs 4,614.48 crore last week. Now the company's market cap has reached Rs 3,62,047.96 crore. State Bank of India i.e. SBI's market cap has also declined by Rs 3,748.34 crore.

Now the market cap of the bank is Rs 3,78,894.38 crore. The market cap of Kotak Mahindra Bank has declined by Rs 3,697.15 crore to Rs 3,40,237.26 crore. The market cap of Infosys declined by Rs 3,004.19 crore to Rs 6,67,911.74 crore.

Reliance Industries Limited has been the top gainer in the top-10 companies of BSE last week. Reliance's market cap has increased by Rs 15,785.21 crore to Rs 13,49,794.23 crore. The market cap of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has increased by Rs 9,245.63 crore to Rs 5,84,695.18 crore.
