BTSC released notification for recruitment to two posts

Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Specialist Medical Officer and General Medical Officer. According to the released notification, through this recruitment drive, a total of 6338 posts of Specialist Medical Officer and General Medical Officer will be recruited in the Health Department of the Government of Bihar.

Interested candidates can apply online for these posts by May 24 through btsc.bih.nic.in and pariksha.nic.in.

Number of posts- 6338

Specialist Medical Officer (SMO) - 3706

General Medical Officer (GMO) - 2632

Eligibility

Candidates applying for these posts should have MBBS and Post Graduation Degree in equivalent field / diploma / DNB in respective field. Apart from this, candidates are also required to have 12 months internship experience in National Medical Council or Government Hospital.

Age Range

Candidates applying should be between 37 and 42 years old. For more information on the age limit, you can check the official notification.

Last date for submission of application fee - 24 May

Selection process

Selection of qualified and interested candidates will be done directly without any examination. For selection, 60 marks of MBBS, 15 marks of post graduation and 25 marks of experience will be added.

General / OBC / EWS: Rs 250

ST / SC / EBC (Bihar State): Rs 50

Female (State of Bihar): 50 rupees

Other state candidates (Male / Female): Rs 200
