Amitabh Bachchan To Play Rishi Kapoor's Role In The Intern

In January 2020, it was announced that Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor would headline the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern. However, the film had hit a production halt after the demise of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor in April 2020. Now the makers have reportedly roped in Amitabh Bachchan to taken on Rishi Kapoor's role.

Amitabh Bachchan is all set to reprise his role as a powerful lawyer in the upcoming, thriller, Chehre. The actor has earlier essayed a lawyer in films like Piku and Badla. The film Chehre also stars Emraan Hashmi

Mohena Singh, who quit the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, spoke about her plans to return to television. The actress said that she is not sure whether she would ever like to return to TV, but added that it doesn't mean that she will never come back on-screen.

The highly anticipated teaser of Karnan will be released on March 23. Sharing the big news with his innumerable fans and followers, Dhanush tweeted, "Karnan teaser date", with a brand new poster of the film revealing the date. In the intriguing poster, the actor can be seen sitting handcuffed while holding a dagger with his both hands.
