Bollywood : Shahrukh Khan and Kajol Devgan are known as Bollywood's best on-screen couple. Their pair became famous with the 1993 film Abbas-Mustan. An interesting anecdote related to this film was narrated by Shah Rukh in Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee with Karan' a few years back, whose video is becoming quite viral these days. Shah Rukh explains in the video, the film's title song 'Baazigar O Baazigar' had some lines - Mera dil tha akele tune khein aisa khela '. On these lines, Kajol had to give some sensuous expression which was not happening to him. We were both new. Kajol was trying to give such an expression, but he looked very fake because nobody gives such expression anywhere in normal life. Then Kajol further said, I tried a lot but my expressions were not able to come, sometimes there was a timing mess and sometimes something.
Shahrukh further said, then choreographer Saroj Khan ji said to me, you pinch-win him something like that. Then I did the same and the shot was OK. It sounds vulgar but it was not.
In this film, the pair of Shah Rukh and Kajol were very well liked. Shah Rukh became an overnight star by playing a negative character in this film and his career shone.
