CLAT 2021: Applications begin, Exam is on 9 May

CLAT 2021: According to the notification issued by CLAT Consortium, the online application process for CLAT 2021 will start from January 1 and will run till March 31.

The application form has to be submitted online only from the consortiumofnlus.ac.in website. Offline application will not be taken. Although the exam will be offline. The clat will be held on May 9, 2021 from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed 12th standard with at least 45 percent marks from any recognized board of the country can apply for this examination. Students appearing in the 2020 or 2021 board exams are also eligible for CLAT 2021.

How to register: Candidates appearing in the CLAT exam will have to register using the mobile number and email ID. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number provided for verification.

After the mobile number is valid, it can be logged using the mobile number and the password given at the time of registration. After that the form will open.

Enrollment in 22 NLUs: With the score of CLAT, 22 will be admitted in NLU. After the results are declared, the candidates will fill the list in order of preference for all 22 NLUs. If any candidate is applying under SCST OBC, then the category certificate will have to be uploaded by the competent officer.

Advice: CLAT Consortium has advised that candidates should correctly write their name and parents name in the application. Changes to this later may disqualify candidature. You cannot change the Program, Category, and BPL fields if the candidate application is submitted, and payment is made.

If the information is found to be incorrect at any stage of the application, examination and admission process, or there is a discrepancy between the certificate, the candidate's application will be canceled with immediate effect without any further reason.

Application fee:

Application fee for General, OBC, PWD, NRI candidates Rs 4 thousand

For SCST, BPL category candidates, the application fee is Rs 3500.
