Digital payment platform Paytm gives relief to shoppers

Technology : Digital payment and technology platform Paytm has given great relief to shoppers. Shopkeepers connected to Paytm's network will now be able to take payments at no charge through the Paytm wallet as well as the UPI and Rupay cards.

In a statement issued by Paytm, it said that the benefit of zero fee on digital payment would be 1.7 crore merchants. Shopkeepers will be able to avail zero percent fee on all their digital payments as well as direct settlement in their bank accounts. Paytm-linked shopkeepers will now be able to take unlimited payment through Paytm Wallet at zero percent fee.

Just a QR Code :

Shopkeepers will no longer need to place many QR codes on their counters. They have to keep only 'All-In-One QR' to take payment from Paytm Wallet, Paytm UPI or any other UPI App.

Businessmen will save - Paytm Senior Vice President Kumar Aditya said, 'We are strengthening our merchant partners across the country. So that they accept all the wallet payments, and settle it directly in your bank account without thinking about the fees. This will help the traders to save more with every transaction. Now traders can do all the transactions through a single QR without any limitation.
