NEET UG Exam : Result on 16 October

NEET UG re-exam for admission in medical and dental graduation course is on Wednesday. The main examination took place on 13 September. However, many students could not take the exam due to the rules of lockdown. These students have been given another chance on 14 October.

Results will come after 2 days:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the results of the original examination held on September 13 and the re-examination of October 14 on October 16.

The results of the first NEET UG were to come on 12 October. However, the Supreme Court allowed the NEET to be held again on 14 October for candidates who failed to appear for the examination held on 13 September. Also, the court directed that the result should be released on October 16 after the re-examination.

15.97 lakh candidates had registered for NEET. On September 13, 14.37 lakh candidates appeared for the examination. It is expected that the remaining 1.6 lakh candidates will appear in Wednesday's examination.

Along with releasing the results, the agency will also issue college-wise cut-offs for MBBS and BDS courses in medical colleges across the country. In such a situation, candidates will be able to check their scores on the official website ntaneet.nic.in.
