Finally EPFO started WhatsApp helpline service
Now the solution to all the problems related to EPFO will be found on WhatsApp. Retirement fund body EPFO has launched WhatsApp helpline service for its subscribers.
The Labor Ministry said in a statement, that this facility is apart from other forums for resolution of grievances of EPFO. That is, this facility is being offered in addition to the pre-existing grievance redressal platforms of EPFO such as EPFiGMS portal, CPGRAMS, social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter) and 24x7 call centers.
WhatsApp has the most users
WhatsApp is the most used app at the moment. WhatsApp is associated with every category and all types of users. In such a situation, EPFO has introduced this facility to connect directly with all its stakeholders. This helpline number has been started in all 138 regional offices of EPFO.
Any subscriber who runs WhatsApp will be able to use this helpline for any inquiry related to this service or to file a complaint. The WhatsApp helpline numbers of all the regional offices are available on the homepage of EPFO official website.
Service released without interruption:
A statement from the ministry said that EPFO has launched a WhatsApp-based helpline-cum-grievance redressal system under its uninterrupted chain of initiatives aimed at ensuring uninterrupted service.
