Kevin Mayer wrote a letter to the Government of India:

The mayor wrote in a letter to the Indian government that I can confirm that the Chinese government has not made any request to us for the data of Indian users. If we receive such a request in the future, we will not comply with it.

TikTok, Shareit, Kwai, UC Browser, Baidu map, Shein, Clash of Kings, DU battery saver, Helo, Likee, YouCam makeup, Mi Community, CM Browers, Virus Cleaner, APUS Browser, ROMWE, Club Factory, Newsdog, Beutry Plus , WeChat, UC News, QQ Mail, Weibo have closed 59 apps.
