Technology News : China recently passed the National Security Act to censor the Internet in Hong Kong. Many international mobiles and sites are being banned under this law.


Along with prohibiting the sharing of information in the Security Act, tech companies have made it mandatory for users to share data with the government. That is why, TikTok has announced to stop work in Hong-Kong. Apart from this, big companies like Twitter and Facebook have also refused to share the data of users.

Kevin Mayer wrote a letter to the Government of India:

The mayor wrote in a letter to the Indian government that I can confirm that the Chinese government has not made any request to us for the data of Indian users. If we receive such a request in the future, we will not comply with it.

Meyer said that TikTok is not available in China despite the company being Chinese. Kevin Meyer, said that the data of Indian users is on the servers of Singapore and the company plans to build a data center in India.


The Chinese government has never asked for data from the company. Now consider the things of the mayor, despite China, ByteDance is avoiding the Chinese market to catch global users. Evidence of this is that TikTok is not available in China.

Indian government imposes ban on Chinese mobile apps:

The Government of India had decided to block these 59 apps under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, as these apps were a threat to India's sovereignty and integrity, defense of India, security of the state and public order.

The government had received many complaints about these apps from various sources, including about the misuse of many mobile apps.



After this decision of the Government of India, the Government of Australia and the United States have also started thinking about Chinese apps like TikTok. It is being said that Tiktok and other Chinese apps may be banned soon in both these countries.

These Chinese apps are banned :

TikTok, Shareit, Kwai, UC Browser, Baidu map, Shein, Clash of Kings, DU battery saver, Helo, Likee, YouCam makeup, Mi Community, CM Browers, Virus Cleaner, APUS Browser, ROMWE, Club Factory, Newsdog, Beutry Plus , WeChat, UC News, QQ Mail, Weibo have closed 59 apps.
