The Allahabad High Court dismissed the petition of the candidate who had made a mistake in the OMR Sheet in the 69,000 Assistant Teacher Recruitment Written Examination, saying that, the candidate who cannot understand the instructions of the OMR sheet is not eligible to become an Assistant Teacher.

However, the court has given relief to those candidates who had failed in the online application. The court refused to grant relief to such candidates who failed the examination.


69000 shikshak bharti news : This order was given by Justice Anjani Kumar Mishra while hearing Amar Bahadur and 25 others and three other petitions together. One candidate blacklisted some answers while filling the answers on the OMR sheet in the written examination of Assistant Teacher Recruitment, while some ticked the answers. He demanded to have his answer book checked again.
The court said that on the OMR sheet there have been clear instructions that the shells facing the north have to be blackened. But the petitioner failed to understand the instructions. Such a candidate is not eligible to become an assistant teacher, who cannot understand the instructions.

The court accepted all the petitions and said that the petitioners should submit a report before the selection committee, and the selection committee should consider it and take a decision as per rules.

Candidates who failed the written examination had sought to rectify the error applied online. The court said that allowing such candidates to rectify the error will affect the examination result, which has already been declared.
