One Nation, One Ration Card Scheme
Indian Growth : Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman gave the details of the second installment under the economic package today. Today he focused on migrant laborers, street vendors, small traders and small farmers. Various announcements were made. It was said to implement the One Nation, One Ration Card scheme for the poor.
However, One Nation, One Ration Card Scheme will be applicable till August 2020. This allows ration to be taken from depots in any part of the country. 100% national portability will be achieved by March 2021. The worker can get the ration of his right from any depot in the country.
